MAY 31 UPDATE: THE MCMANSION WAS TODAY APPROVED BY THE METRO EAST JOINT DEVELOPMENT ASSESSMENT PANEL.

A double-storey, 24/7 McDonald’s has been recommended for approval on Albany Highway in Gosnells.

The City of Gosnells has recommended that the pictured Maccas be approved by a state government planning panel when the panel meets on May 31.

The $3.7 million McDonald’s would be located near the intersection of Albany Highway and Fremantle, beside the Gosnells Village Shopping Centre.

The ground floor would include a dining area, outdoor terrace, playground, drive-thru, kitchen and sales areas, and a corral for storing garbage.

The second floor would house a dry goods store, freezer, refrigerator, offices and staff training rooms.
