Ten fireworks-spewing jet skis will be thrown into the mix at next year’s Australia Day Skyworks.

A Skyworks briefing paper seen by oneperth.com.au confirms five of the machines will zoom along the north side of the Swan and five along the south as a prelude to the main event.

Fireworks will be launched from the jet skis to the beat of the usual selection of mainstream Aussie hits.

The briefing paper confirms what most aficionados expected – that fireworks will again erupt from atop the city skyline.

Perth’s highest building (Central Park), pillar of pencil pushing (Governor Stirling Tower), box of bureaucracy (Council House) and Exchange Plaza have already signed their roofs up as launching pads.
